Dr. Kendra Sylvester-Armstrong, MD, is double board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as maternal-fetal medicine (also known as perinatology). She specializes in high-quality care for women with complex pregnancy needs.
Dr. Sylvester-Armstrong earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine (UF COM) in 2014. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at UF COM, finishing her training in 2021. During her training, she authored several publications and received numerous teaching awards.
Though she no longer teaches formally, Dr. Sylvester-Armstrong is deeply committed to educating her patients. She focuses on helping them understand their healthcare so they can make informed decisions about their health and pregnancy. Her primary goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care while advocating strongly for her patients.
Her areas of special interest include pre-conception counseling, detailed fetal ultrasounds during the first trimester, fetal echocardiography, and amniocentesis. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying physically active, and traveling.
